Swim Ambassador Program

An opportunity to work with the Swim team to bring together Swimmers from around the globe & help grow our amazing community!

tldr

You talk, we listen. We have been receiving a lot of inquiries from our community on the potential of becoming an ambassador, so without further ado, we bring you the Swim Ambassador Progam. This program will aim to work with our loyal community members to onboard them as ambassadors of Swim with the focus of helping generate excitement about our protocol, moderate our community, and assist in answering questions about Swim!

Who are we looking for?

(Applicants can serve multiple roles or concentrate on one)

1) Community Moderators

Swim community moderators are passionate about Swim and have a desire to help educate the community on how to get the most out of Swim. Community moderators will politely and patiently assist fellow community members with questions and concerns relevant to Swim and provide input from the community to enhance the core team’s understanding of the communities concerns. Swim moderators will be given a “moderator” badge upon successful application. Community moderators from all over the world are welcome to apply, especially those in Russia, China, and Japan to help moderate the various international channels we have.

An ideal candidate would have:

• Experience in community management
• A knack for connecting with people from all walks of life
• A strong understanding of Swim and the answers to commonly asked questions

2) Social Media Engagement Manager

We’re looking for experienced content creators and social media junkies who know how to engage with other Twitter users, while also educating people about what Swim is capable of. As a social media engagement manager at Swim, your role is to help us connect and communicate with our wonderful community and raise awareness of our project and cause.

An ideal candidate would have:

• An understanding of what makes Swim unique and the ability to clearly communicate it
• In-depth knowledge of DeFi and cross-chain bridges
• Strong grasp of the English language and is capable of making cohesive arguments as to why someone should use Swim

3) Graphic Designers

Are you a digital art wizard? Swim is looking to onboard graphic designers to help us develop engaging visual content that demonstrates our vision and educates the broader crypto community. Together we’ll spread the word about what makes Swim special and why users should look forward to using Swim. Responsibilities will include the development of informative and entertaining content (videos, graphics, GIFs, stickers) on various project-related topics. Experienced graphic designers who can make fantastic banners for occasions such as new collaborations, listings, platform updates.

An ideal candidate would have:

• Experience making memes, GIFs, videos that tell a story
• Understanding of what makes Swim special
• Creativity, humor, and a love for making content about Swim!

Expectations

A solid understanding of the product

1. You should be able to explain Swim, its main use cases, and what makes ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Swim unique compared to other cross-chain bridges
2. Being knowledgeable on how cross-chain bridges function and have an understanding of how our swaps function to best help support other Swimmers
3. Ability to answer commonly asked questions about the protocol, roadmap, and other common discussion points

Help moderate the channel you are assigned to, which includes:

1. Answering commonly asked questions and directing members to the right channels for their needs (for example, support inquiries should be directed to the support channel)
2. Hosting interactive events on our Discord, such as sports discussions, art contests, game nights, etc.
3. Moderating the international channels (for the languages you speak) and making sure discussions are healthy and appropriate, along with translating existing Swim content

It's crucial for Ambassadors to be very active in their respective international channels & help guide healthy discussions

A calm, respectable, and professional demeanor

1. You are expected to remain professional when our members might be upset with us. You should understand that it is not personal and you must remain calm and answer any questions/concerns with a cool demeanor.
2. Always, and we mean always, treat all community members with respect! If there ever comes a case of inappropriate or aggressive behavior report it to the Swim Admins immediately
